Calhoun Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church affiliated with the Daviess-McLean Baptist Association in Calhoun, KY.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 says: "For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again."

Because "Christ's love compels us...the focus and vision of Calhoun Baptist Church is to bring glory to God by leading people to faith in Christ and on to spiritual maturity through ministering to the HEART of McLean County and beyond. The love of Christ compels us to no longer live for ourselves, but to live for Him. Our deepest desire is to minister to all those for whom Christ died. The love of God compels us to meet the needs of hurting people. The love of Christ compels us to share the Gospel with every person in McLean County. Christ's love compels us to love one another and to have a united fellowship within our church family. It is the love of Christ that compels us to worship Him. We teach and study the Word of God because of the wonderful love of Christ Jesus.
