Barad of India

God provided a bountiful harvest. For several
years, believers prayed and labored among the
Barad people. In 2021, God called a believing
family to travel hours every Sunday to a village
and share the gospel with the Barad. In 2022,
they saw fruit as Barad turned from their idols
and began following Christ. The gospel has
already spread through these new Barad
believers to other villages. Now, more than
50 Barad people in four different villages gather
weekly to worship and study God’s Word.
We thank God for moving among the Barad.

How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace,
who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
